Bruges is a charming little city and not too far from the UK so it’s an easy distance for an exciting school trip. It is the capital of West Flanders in north-west Belgium and is notable for its meandering canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings. To get fantastic views of the city, you can climb to the top of the 83-meter high Belfry.
