Overview

Amsterdam offers a wide range of business-themed guided tours to support your business studies curriculum.

The Aalsmeer Flower Auction and the Amsterdam Exchange, Delft Pottery factory and the Ajax behind the scenes tour are just some of the examples of business visits on offer.  A trip to the Netherlands will provide a fascinating insight into the business world for your students!

Our Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Morning flight to Amsterdam and transfer to your accommodation. 

    Then enjoy a guided tour of the Johan Cruyff ArenA, home to the biggest name in Dutch football - AFC Ajax!  Students can sit in the managers' dugout, smell the hallowed turf and pretend that they're the new Ajax coach in the press room. 

    Later in the afternoon, take a boat trip along Amsterdam's famous canals.

  2. Day 2

    In the morning, take a tour of the Clara Maria Cheese Farm and Clog Factory - students will get the chance to take a closer look into the traditional production methods.

    Visit the world famous Japanese yoghurt brand Yakult's Almere Factory.  Learn all about their fascinating history and take a detailed tour of the various parts of the production process.

    Wrap your day up with a guided tour of the Coster Diamond Factory!  Here, students gain insight into the entire production process, from the diamond polishing techniques to the set up in jewellery.

  3. Day 3

    Spend your last morning visiting the Amsterdam Exchange Experience.  This tour will take students on an exciting journey through trading history from the very first share to trading as we know it today.  Includes a walk on the balcony over the exchange floor!

    Afternoon/evening flight home.

Accommodation

Our groups visiting Amsterdam tend to stay at StayOkay Hostel Vondelpark or the MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West.  Our accommodation is usually 2* or youth hostel standard and provides a perfect base for enjoying your tour.   All accommodation we use is audited, and our auditing regime is verified by independent experts.
