Overview

The Isle of Wight feels worlds away from the rest of the UK, when in reality it's only 2.5 hours from London!

The island has so much to offer visitors - Roman remains, a Royal Palace, stunning natural landscapes and even dinosaurs!  There are so many adventures awaiting you on a school trip to the Isle of Wight, from learning about conservation at the Amazon World Zoo Park, to fossil hunting at Dinosaur Isle and seeing glass blowing first-hand amidst the multi-coloured sands of Alum Bay.  Not to mention the excitement to be had at the Robin Hill Adventure Park!

The island offers a range of educational visits covering many different topic areas, including science and geography.  The breadth of experiences available to pupils in just a few days, makes the Isle of Wight a brilliant destination for primary schools and enrichment trips!

Our Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Journey and ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight. 

    Transfer to your accommodation to settle in.

    Enjoy some free time on the beach!

  2. Day 2

    Come face to face with some of the world’s most beautiful and endangered creatures at Amazon World Zoo Park.

    Explore the attractions and views at The Needles Park.

    Visit a traditional sand shop to create a unique coloured souvenir with Alum Bay sand!

    Witness the fascinating art of glassblowing at Alum Bay Glass.

    Head to the Sweet Manufactory to see how sweets are made!

    Optional evening activity: a game of 10-pin bowling.

  3. Day 3

    Spend the morning fossil hunting with an expert guide!

    Discover how dinosaurs lived and encounter life-sized dinosaurs at Dinosaur Isle.

    Optional evening activity: Disco!

  4. Day 4

    Spend the morning at Robin Hill Adventure Park – full of great rides, falconry displays and adventure!

    Ferry crossing and return journey home.

We use safe and secure accommodation especially suited to schools.  Our accommodation is usually 2* or youth hostel standard and provides a perfect base for enjoying your tour.  All accommodation we use is audited, and our auditing regime is verified by independent experts.
