From theatrical innovation to contemporary art, pioneering music, writing and design, world class museums and art galleries; London is a fabulous Art and Design destination.  You will be simply spoilt for choice.  Choose a day trip or an overnight stay to take the opportunity of seeing an amazing West End show - a real treat! 

Our Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Depart school in the morning and travel to London by coach. 

    Visit to The National Portrait Gallery for some observational drawing and a self-guided discovery tour!  

    Head across to the world-renowned National Gallery, home to over 2,300 magnificent paintings.  Let us know if you'd like to add on a practical workshop here. 

    Explore Covent Garden in the afternoon, with the possibility to add on a restaurant meal if you'd like. 

    Optional evening activity: treat your group to a night out at the theatre to see a classic West End Show!

  2. Day 2

    Visit the V&A Museum, arguably the world's greatest museum of art and design!  There's an option to do a tailored tour or workshop here if you prefer. 

    Grab some lunch as you explore the popular Borough Market

    In the afternoon, head to the Tate Modern, Britain's national museum of modern and contemporary art from around the world!

    Journey back to school.

Accommodation

Our London Art itinerary makes for a fun-filled day trip, but is of course also possible as a longer trip!  We have a wide range of accommodation in London, with something to suit all budgets and requirements.  All accommodation we use is audited, and our auditing regime is verified by independent experts.
