Overview

From Wall Street to NASDAQ, New York has always had business and commerce at its very core.

New York offers business students the chance to experience a dynamic city at the heart of the global economy.  Our itineraries allow students to learn about the work of some of the biggest financial institutions of the city, and includes educational workshops and guided tours of iconic organisations.

Our Suggested Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Flight to New York and transfer to your accommodation.

    Spend your first evening exploring Times Square!

  2. Day 2

    Guided walking tour of the Financial District: the tour focuses on the birth and history of the stock market, how trading developed and events that greatly influenced the stock market.

    Take a tour of the UN Headquarters to learn about the organisation, its history and view the General Assembly Hall where the members of the UN convene to discuss global issues.

  3. Day 3

    Head to Madame Tussaud's for a Business and Marketing workshop!  Learn how Madame Tussauds continues to grow as a top tourist attraction in New York City and worldwide.

    Explore Midtown Manhattan – Visit the New York Public Library, take a stroll through Central Park, and visit the Rockefeller Center.

    Optional treat – a visit to Top of the Rock!

  4. Day 4

    Enjoy a guided tour of Macy's, one of the world's largest (and most well-known) department stores.  Focus on merchandising, product advertising, and the company's history.

    Shopping on 5th Avenue!

    Airport transfer and overnight flight home.

  5. Day 5

    Arrive home.

In New York, our schools tend to stay at the Hotel Wolcott, a stone's throw away from the Empire State Building.  We use safe and secure accommodation especially suited to schools and quote on a no bed-sharing basis.  Our accommodation is usually 2* or youth hostel standard and provides a perfect base for enjoying your tour.  All accommodation we use is audited, and our auditing regime is verified by independent experts.
