Norway: Kingdom of the Fjords
Overview
Bergen is the gateway to Norway’s famous fjords! With seven peaks and seven fjords of its own, it’s an unusually picturesque setting for a major city. It’s just a short journey from some of the most spectacular natural wonders in Norway, many of which were carved by glaciers during the Ice Age.
There are special memories to be made here, including a boat trip through spectacular fjords and a hike across a glacier! Students can also visit a working geothermal power plant and uncover the effects of climate change at the Norwegian Nature Centre.
