Start your day by heading to Boston Common, the oldest city park in the United States, dating back to 1634.

Starting from the Common, walk the Freedom Trail, a red brick path that will lead you to a number of significant historic locations including the Massachusetts State House and the Old South Meeting House.

Then meander along Boston’s Harborwalk, which stretches for 40 miles of public access at the water’s edge.

Visit the New England Aquarium, the centrepiece of the waterfront.  It is teeming with sea creatures of all sizes, shapes and colour.

In the evening, head to a sports game: enjoy watching a game of basketball or ice hockey, 2 of America's most iconic sports!

Take a day trip across the bay to Salem - home to America's famous witch trials of 1692!

Experience one of the spookiest towns in America with a guided walking tour around its most significant sights.

Afterwards, visit the Salem Witch Museum where visitors can experience the drama of the trials though thirteen life-size stage sets, figures, lighting and a stirring narration as they are witness to the web of lies and intrigue of the Witch Hunt!

Then visit the world-renowned Harvard University.  Go on a guided tour to learn about the history of this great establishment.

On your final day visit Plymouth, the site of the first Pilgrim settlement, founded in 1620.

Visit the Plimoth Patuxet Museums, learning about the Indigenous and colonial people who lived and worked on these shores in the 17th century. 

Go on a Duck Boat Tour to enjoy one last chance to get great views of the city from the Charles River and take in breath-taking views of the Boston and Cambridge skylines.
