The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is not to be missed; located inside the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, it holds important artworks from the 20th Century. The Gallerie dell'Accademia is another important museum, housed inside the majestic complex of the Scuola Grande de la Carità; and Ca' Rezzonico, one of the most awe-inspiring palaces from the Renaissance and location for the Museum of 18th Century Venice.
Venice is also the location for the renowed Biennale, where the spotlight alternates between art and architecture. Running alongside the two main events are annual showcases of dance, theatre, cinema and music.
"I was nervous about taking a group with our specific needs away abroad, but Diverse, and especially Silvia, just sorted everything. Silvia was so efficient and endlessly helpful and positive. When we were there everything was to a much higher standard than we expected. Both learners and staff were impressed and happy and ours are a hard bunch to please!"
