School trips in Oslo

Norway’s cosmopolitan capital is home to innovative architecture, world-class museums, and many of the country’s most prestigious cultural institutions.  From the charming wooden houses along Damstredet to the vibrant Aker Brygge Wharf by the inner harbour, Oslo’s diverse neighbourhoods each offer something unique for your students to explore.  A rapidly growing city, it has simultaneously earned the status of European Green Capital for 2019.

About Oslo

Oslo is the obvious choice for a Viking-themed school trip; at the Viking Ship Museum visitors can see the world's best preserved Viking ships up close: the Oseberg, Gokstad and Tune Ships.  Head across to its partner museum, The Historical Museum, to view some of the most exquisite objects from the Norwegian Viking Age.  It’s also not far from Vestfold, the county in Norway boasting the most traces of their proud Viking heritage.
