Paphos is the home of stunning coastlines, delicious gastronomy, and Aphrodite! Walk amongst UNESCO World Heritage sites, stopping into quaint farms, wineries, and restaurants to grab a behind-the-scenes look into the production and processing of various dishes- and have a taste too!

Students will be able to watch the production of traditional Cypriot sweets and follow the wine making process. You can enjoy a guided tour of a goat farm where you'll be able to taste and learn about the production of dairy, meat, bakery and vegetable products. Plus, students can experience a Cypriot cooking workshop where you can put your culinary skills to the test! 

Plus, you'll have plenty of time for sightseeing around Paphos, Limassol, and Nicosia including a cruise on Limassol's coastline!

Our Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 - Food Studies in Cyprus

Flight from UK to Paphos. 

Head into the centre of Paphos to watch the production and learn the story behind the traditional Cypriot sweet loukoumi. Of course, you'll have the opportunity to try samples!

Then, settle into your accommodation. 

Day 2 - Neolithic

Start your day by travelling to the past in Paphos Archaeological Museum. Discover a collection of finds dating from the Neolithic age through to 1700AD!

Then, spend some time in the Old Town of Paphos. Known as the birthplace of Aphrodite, Paphos is famous for its rich history and beautiful buildings. 

Next on the agenda is a guided tour of the Archeological Site of Nea Paphos, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With monuments dating back to prehistoric times, the Middle Ages and the Roman period, there is plenty to learn, aided by an expert guide.

Now you'll be on your way to the base of the Troodos Mountains to enjoy a guided tour of a family-owned winery. As you learn about the entire production process, you'll follow the grape from vine to wine! 

Round off your busy day with a traditional meze dinner at a local restaurant

Day 3 - Ledra Street

Today begins with an educational tour in a local farm. You'll get the opportunity to watch, taste and learn about the production of dairy, meat, bakery and vegetable products! 

Then, put your culinary skills to the test in a Cypriot Cooking Experience! 

Then, head to Ledra Street, in Cyprus' capital, Nicosia. Ledra Street is the most famous shopping street in the capital, with brands including H&M, Flying Tiger and many local shops and businesses. 

Finish your day with a stroll in the traditional neighbourhood of Laiki Geitonia in the old town of Nicosia. This is the perfect place to buy some souvenirs!

 

Day 4 - Ayia Napa Cathedral and Limassol

Get some fresh air and see the city of Limassol from a whole new angle. Take a trip on a cruise on Limassol's coastline! 

Before heading home, take a self-guided tour of Limassol's highlights, including the Ayia Napa Cathedral and Limassol Castle. 

Flight from Cyprus to UK.
