Bologna Engineering and Technology

Based in Bologna, you’ll discover the heart of the Italian automotive industry.  Your students will experience Italy's "Motor Valley", an area that runs broadly between the towns of Modena, Maranello and Bologna.  It encompasses the museums, showrooms and factories of supercar names such as Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini and Pagani, plus Ducati for motorbike enthusiasts.  A truly unforgettable experience for budding engineering students!

Our Suggested Itinerary

Day 1 - Bologna Engineering and Technology

Flight to Pisa. Arrive in the afternoon.

Transfer to Bologna. Self-guided walking tour of Bologna city centre.

Day 2 - Museo Ducati

Visit Museo Ducati, home to the glorious motorcycles that have been manufactured here since 1926.

Then, enjoy the collection of 19 vintage Maserati Cars, which can be seen at the Collezione Umberto Panini.
 

Day 3 - Ferrari

Visit the two museums dedicated to Ferrari – the Ferrari Modena Museum and the Ferrari Maranello Museum. These museums focus on Ferrari's present and future, whilst remaining deeply rooted in the Prancing Horse's extraordinary history. 

Day 4 - Lamborghini Museum

Visit the spectacular Lamborghini Museum. Many special cars are on display here including the last-ever makes of several models and several Formula 1 cars.

Visit the Ferruccio Lamborghini Museum. The museum holds just about everything Ferruccio achieved during his life, with most of the cars on display being from Ferruccio's own private museum.

Day 5 - Return Flight Home

Visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa on the way to the airport.

Flight home.
